Rooms
The forty-five Bhutanese styled spacious rooms each have two windows opening to majestic mountain views. Housed in six buildings, all rooms are heated by wood stoves, and have tiled bathrooms with showers with twenty-four hour hot running water. There are five super deluxe rooms available and one suite that in addition to the above facilities, has an attached dining room, bar and library.
River Lodge Annex is downtown with twelve deluxe rooms with private bathrooms with twenty-four hour hot running water.
Restaurant
The River Lodge also operates an excellent 95 seat restaurant serving traditional Bhutanese, Asian and Western cuisine. The many windows overlook the Chamkhar River Valley. Hours are 6:30 am - 10:30 pm. The River Lodge restaurant is easily converted for conferences or meetings.
Modern conveniences such as laundry service, internet, library, hot stone and steam bath are all available at the River Lodge.
